Blondies Brownies Preparation:
First butter a 8 by 8 inch glass, or metal pan REAL GOOD!
Preheat oven to 380 degrees, (DO IT NOW so your oven will be ready when you are.)
An’ make sure your oven racks are IN THE MIDDLE, (Why? Because Blonde Brownies aren't too good when they turn out doughy on top, an’ burnt on the bottom, that’s why.)
Blonde Brownies Recipe Ingredients:
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
(Use butter, it tastes much better, you don't always need to worry about counting calories.)
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or peanuts
Blonde Brownies Recipe Directions:
Find a 2 quart pan, melt butter over low heat, stirring until well melted. Remove from heat and stir in sugar; add egg and vanilla and beat until well combined. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and walnuts.
Spread blondies batter evenly in a greased 8 inch square baking pan; bake blonde brownies in a 380 degrees oven for 20 to 27 minutes or until golden brown. Let brownies cool in pan on a rack, then cut into 2 inch squares. Store brownies in airtight containers.
