Mystery Bars Wet Ingredients:
1 jar of Mystery Bars dry cookie mix.
1/3 cup butter, cut into small pieces (HINT: use butter, they sure taste better even if there are a few more calories. Geeze! You’re eating a bars cookie, not a piece of celery. Forget the diet for once!)
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
First, preheat oven to 355 degrees. Melt butter in a 13X9-inch baking pan, then remove from heat.
In a large bowl, add Mystery Bars dry cookie mix, add sweetened condensed milk; stir with a spoon until well blended.
Spread batter evenly in prepared pan. Bake Mystery Bars cookies 23 to 28 minutes or until it looks slightly browned. (Watch them Mystery Bars close, nobody likes burnt cookies.) Let Mystery bars stand on baking pan 5 minutes, then cut them into squares. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
This Mystery bars cookies recipe makes about 2 dozen pieces.
