Looking for an easy to make no eggs cookie recipe that will knock your socks off, this is the one. These could possibly be the best cookies I have ever tasted. I've loved no-bake cookies since I was a kid, mainly because we always had everything we needed, and Mom would let me make them all by myself. With Hershey's new dark chocolate cocoa the taste just keeps getting better.
Chocolate No Bake Cookies Ingredients:
2 cups of Sugar
1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup milk
4 Tbsp. Hershey's Cocoa (Special Dark Chocolate)
3/4 cup of Peanut Butter (I prefer chunky)
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups of Instant Quaker Oats
Optional Ingredients:
1 cup of Coconut chunks or flaked
1/2 cup granola cereal
In a heavy saucepan bring the sugar, cocoa, butter and milk to a full boil. Let boil for one minute and add the peanut butter, vanilla and oatmeal ( at this point you can personalize your chocolate no bake cookies by adding any of the optional ingredients). Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper until cooled and hardened.
The key to making perfect chocolate no bake cookies is to boil them for one minute exactly. You start counting the minute once the mixture comes to a ROLLING BOIL. Use the oven timer or a clock with second hands for accuracy.
