Ginger Cookies Recipe
4 A Crowd
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup molasses
3 large eggs
4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground cloves
2 teaspoons ground ginger
Ginger Cookies Directions
Preheat your oven to 350° F.
In a large mixing bowl combine the butter, sugar and molasses, beat until creamy.
Add in the eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition.
In a separate bowl combine the flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and ground ginger, mix well. Add the creamy mix to the dry mix and stir until completely blended.
Roll dough into walnut size balls, dip into sugar.
Place on un - greased cookie sheet.
Bake for the allotted time.
Do not over bake.
Cookies should be chewy.
