Molasses Ginger Snap Cookies Recipe Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1 cup Crisco
2 large eggs
1/2 cup molasses
3 – 1/2 cups flour
2 tablespoons baking soda
2 tablespoons ginger
1 – 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
sugar for rolling
Molasses Ginger Snap Recipe Directions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Beat sugar & Crisco until fluffy, using medium speed on mixer, add in the eggs & molasses beating until thoroughly blended. Sift together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon and cloves.
Gradually stir or beat into the molasses mixture.
Shape into 1 inch balls, roll each molasses ginger snap cookie in the sugar and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned.
Remove from oven and cool on racks.
